Choose Your Beer!"Well ya see, Norm, it' s like this.  A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.  This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.  In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.  Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know,  kills brain cells.  But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.  In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a fast and more efficient machine.  That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

"Monk's Additional Taps"

Surly CynicAle 5.1% ABV  $4.50
(Minnesota)  Brewed with Belgian malted barley, this copper hued ale is brewed in the Belgian Saison style.  A unique Belgian yeast strain creates the spicy flavor and imported hops lend the apricot/peach aroma.
Skinny Monk  4.2% ABV  $3.75
Beautiful golden colored light American pilsner. Easy drinking session beer.
Breckenridge Vanilla Porter  4.7% ABV  $4.25
(Colorado)  This beer has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic porter, with an enigmatic surprise thrown in for good measure, real vanilla bean. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.
Flat Earth Winter Warlock  10.1% ABV  $5.00
(Minnesota)  This golden barley wine-style has flavors of biscuity malt, sweet toasted grains, fruity notes of plums, grapes, pears, and spices along with white grape skins and apples.
Rader Ambree  10.5% ABV  $6.00
(Belgium)  Beautiful amber color. Strong, long lasting malt taste. Perfect harmony between beer and malt flavor with a smooth and continuous evolution of flavors.

"These are aggressive beers. You probably won't like them. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate ales of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad compaign aimed at convincing you its made in a little brewery, or one that implies their tasteless, fizzy, yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing the words as you read this.
